Take the pain out of low light photography

I get commissioned to cover lectures, theatre and shows; the lighting conditions can vary tremendously and require a quick thinking different approach to other jobs. In this post I wanted to share some of my techniques and tips on how to approach a similar situations involving low light photography.

One Night in the Gym

My trainer Danny was also on a mission , a ten day ripping and shredding programme for a planned photo shoot. I couldn't help but be interested as it was the kind of shoot I had not previously done. The shoot was planned for the following Friday , so the phone call on the Wednesday from a slightly unhappy Danny was a surprise and an opportunity for me.
